RAKOS BIKE STOP

The assignment was to design a place where bikers could stop by when biking through Europe. The site is situated in the natural environment by Rakos Creek. The design consists of two parts. The first is a linear building parallel to the bike road, with bike rental and service and a coffee shop. The second part of the design is accommodation - cubes which are inserted into the 5x5 m grid.Â
Both coffee shop and bike service have exterior shaded areas. Bike service uses it as bike parking and coffeeshop as an outer terrace with a view to nature.
There are 4 different types of cubes, they differ in the number of people per cube(privacy), the size of the exterior area and the size of the cubicle.
All these factors make a difference in the price per night.
